PUEBLO – You may see a police presence at a home in Pueblo on Box Elder Street this morning. Officers are on the scene investigating a home invasion that ended in shots being fired by a person living in the house.
Pueblo police say three men reportedly entered the house early this morning and began assaulting the people inside. One of the victims grabbed a handgun and opened fire, hitting at least one of the suspects. The men fled the house and dropped the injured man off at a hospital and left.
Crimes Against Persons & CSI investigators are on the scene.
