COLORADO SPRINGS — An investigation is underway following a fatal shooting on the southeast side of Colorado Springs. It happened at Uintah Street and Delaware Avenue near the Citadel Mall. Authorities say they found a deceased male at the scene. Colorado Springs Police say the shooting is not connected to the officer-involved shooting near Sunflower Road and North Cascade.
