TELLER COUNTY – An area in Teller County is in the clear after the sheriff’s office ordered a shelter-in-place order Wednesday night after possible explosives were found on a property near Upper Twin Rock and Quartz Rd.
A family looking through the belongings of a deceased relative called the sheriff’s office after they discovered what appeared to be explosives on the property. The Shelter-in-place order was put into effect at 9:15 p.m. and after deputies spent the night clearing the property, the order was lifted at 3:15 a.m. Thursday morning. It’s unknown if deputies found anything.
