LA PLATE COUNTY — The Mark Redwine murder trial is now in the hands of a jury following closing arguments Thursday. Redwine is accused of the murder of his 13-year-old son Dylan during a court-ordered visit to his father’s Vallecito home in November of 2012. On Wednesday, the defense rested its case without addressing the compromising photos that prosecutors say motivated Redwine to kill his son. Meanwhile, Redwine’s defense team argued Dylan likely ran away from home and was killed by wild animals. The jury began deliberations Thursday afternoon and will continue Friday morning.
