Colorado Springs voters said no to increased taxes supporting trails, parks and open spaces. Mayor John Suthers has expressed some concern about the future of the city’s TOPS program in the future. Local voters also shot down Issue 1A which would’ve let the city keep money above TABOR limits. But voters did approve 2D, and Colorado Springs now has around $20 million to use to create a local and regional wildlife mitigation plan. Final results will be released later today.
