Colorado currently ranks fifth in the number of COVID cases across America. If those numbers continue to go up, State Epidemiologist Dr. Rachel Herlihy says there could be as many as 1,500 Coloradans hospitalized by the end of the month. The state’s taken steps to fight the growing number of cases. Governor Jared Polis requested FEMA medical teams to come help hospitals with large COVID populations, and the state is sending out buses providing antibody treatments for COVID.
