Joshua Johnson found guilty in the death of 17-year-old Riley Whitelaw

A jury has found Joshua Johnson guilty of first-degree murder in the death of his 17-year-old co-worker Riley Whitelaw. An inmate at the U.S. Penitentiary is recovering after they were assaulted late Wednesday morning. Officials say employees were able to quickly gain control of the situation, and at no time was the public in danger. No other injuries were reported. Deputies search for two suspects in a series of robberies in unincorporated El Paso County

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of burglaries last month. Deputies say the crimes happened on September 25th near Marksheffel in unincorporated El Paso County. Officials search for a pair suspected of stealing mail

Officials with the United States Postal Inspection Service are working to identify two people suspected of stealing mail.
